So check up at sgh was done yesterday. The check up wasn't any normal check-up. I had to see a specialist to see what happened to me. Apparently, i didn't know the doctor was a specialist until i was told by the specialist herself lol. I was told that i've a scar on the right side of my lungs. 2 reasons: Either i'm one of the special people who is born with it or some serious illness happened to me when i'm young. Because the specialist said, by the looks of the scar, it's quite old and has been there for a long time. Anyway, nothing serious will happen to me. Thank god! But i've to take another CT scan, one that is clearer than normal x-rays and more radioactive. It will be on the friday before A levels starts. Then after A levels, i've to see the specialist again to review the cause of the scar/etc. So most likely i'll be posted into army in April. Because they will not have enough time to post me in January.

Tomorrow will be my check up day. Apparently, my x-ray screening from army check-up suggested persistent right hilar opacity. So they gave me a letter to go for check up at SGH tomorrow 10am. What's hilar opacity? Don't know..haha let's see tomorrow man. It will be the first time i'm going to the hospital for any kind of check-up. So it will be scary man. Let's hope for the best and let nothing bad happen to me. Protect me God!

Anyway, revision has been good so far. God blessed me! Since the start of this week, i've finished chemistry njc/rjc/hci/ajc/mjc/srjc prelims and A levels 05-07 papers 2 & 3 as well as physics hci/tjc/njc prelims papers 2 & 3. Brute force! Everyday has been studying, studying and studying. And God! :) Monday: Study in school from 8-12pm then went for mock gp exam. Tuesday: Gp consultation with Miss Chiam then studied in school till 8pm, touched home for dinner at 9pm (starving). Wednesday: Shepherding by James in the morning, bought dad a birthday present then studied at home from 12-7pm. Today: Economics mass lecture then studied in school from 12-6pm. In between, a crazy fire drill lol heheh.

Throughout this period of time, study or rest, tired or active, busy or free, bored or excited, i feel that i still must find time to think how god has blessed me all the time. Regardless of what happens, the relationship with god will be the most steady one. Psalms 18:2 The lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my god is my rock, in whom i take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I shall put god above any relationships. Because he is the one who provides me solutions to problems, grants our wishes and allows me to repent on what i have done wrong.

I have a bad habit, which is to rush through life, do things fast/walk fast/robot my way through. I must slow myself down, savour all the moments slowly, treasure the good stuffs people do for me. God teaches me this. To think through my life. The purpose of human lives, is to care for people around us. Do your best for them and they will give the best to you in return. On monday, for the mock gp exam, i wrote about whether we should extend kindness to others. I wanted to try something new besides environment. But didn't know what pushed me into attempting the kindness question. For the first time, i did such question and i ended up writing as though i was talking. Very casual indeed. Haha. Anyway, i argued that we should extend kindness to others. It's the thought that counts. No matter how much money you donate or how much effort you put in (e.g. teaching your friend), the work we do will be cherished by others. Kindness is a good deed, an act to redeem for our sins and to honour god. Because it is god who taught us the need to do more for others, not just to care for yourself.

On the last note, whenever you guys, yes you people who are reading my blog right now, whenever you go to the beach to play, please clear your rubbish. Around 2 weeks ago, i went for a bike patrol for WWS to clear litter and found a lot of litter left behind by the dragon boaters near the Nicoll Highway area. It was terrible and the group of us could do little to clean up the place. Be kind to your fellow users of the beach and keep it clean. Love the environment :)
